Division of Student Affairs

Savannah State University is committed to meeting the social, psychological, spiritual and physical needs of it's students through integrated and diverse programs and services that challenge and support the development of life skills. The resources of the Division of Student Affairs are utilized to facilitate the learning process of students both inside and outside of the classroom and to achier the University's goal of developing the whole person.

Through the programs and services of the Division of Student Affairs, service to others, appreciation of diversity, and the global perspective are strongly and actively encouraged.

The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to help the students recognize, understand, and appreciate out-of-classroom experiences that will provide a holistic educational experience. The quality of student life, however, depends on the extent to which students take advantage of what the University offers for their personal learning and social enrichment.
